Maryam Russel

She believes that she and her FUN team are going to rock Summer 2014’s FUN Camps :D

Greg Ross
Victoria FUN Camps Coordinator

Greg is a fourth-year commerce student at the University of Victoria, specializing in international business. Working and volunteering for many years at a summer camp for children with disabilities,Greg developed his passion for mentoring youth, being outdoors, and singing ridiculous camp songs. He is incredibly excited to continue making a difference in the lives of others as the Victoria FUN Camps Coordinator, sharing his passion for the environment and human rights with the future leaders of our community. Greg is also an avid traveller, having toured over 25 countries on four continents. This has inspired his belief in the need for collective action on the sustainability and social issues of our time, and his intention of one day running his own not-for-profit to contribute to this.

Cedar Luke
Colwood FUN Camps Coordinator

Hi! My name is Cedar and I am full of joy and gratitude to be part of this wonderful organization. I am a Nature enthusiast, a lifetime alternative learner and enjoy serving the community in many ways. I study geography, social justice and indigenous studies at the University of Victoria. I love music, stories, sports, art and the fresh ideas that come from the great diversity of life. I was raised and home-schooled in Minnesota and give credit to this early time of freedom and imagination for my out-of-the-box thinking today. In 2010 I spent a year on a Rotary youth exchange in Chile where I taught English at an elementary school. I have also spent numerous summers as a camp counsellor. I love to connect with my inner child and stay curious so that I may always continue to learn. I am open and attentive to the voices around me so that I can provide guidance and support when needed. I believe that education should be explored through the natural skills, interests and passions of each individual student. FUN offers a fantastic opportunity to nurture kids unique inspiration and bring out the absolute best of them.

                                                !!!COME AND PLAY!!!
