At Friends Uniting for Nature (FUN) Society, we believe kids truly can change the world.  Our mission is to empower them with the skills, tools and support to make it happen.  We help transform youth from a diversity of backgrounds into agents of positive change with hands-on leadership training and environmental education programs.  Most importantly, we make everything we do enjoyable – because it’s not sustainable if it isn’t fun! 

Our award-winning programs enable kids to discover the interconnectivity that unites their actions with this planet and everything on it.  As we guide this exploration, we are helping them cultivate the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to become passionate leaders. At an age when many kids can feel powerless and overwhelmed by the issues of the world, FUN Society provides a space for them to connect with others, themselves, the broader community and the natural world. The power of these connections shows them what they are able to accomplish when they have that perfect mix of passion, tools and teamwork. 

Our vision is to be a world leader in education that inspires people into action.  We believe in a world where an informed and engaged society works together to tackle the social and environmental challenges we face.  As daunting as it may sound, it is absolutely possible and already happening.  We are contributing to this positive change revolution through our two major programs: FUN Camps and FUN Champs.
